Repairs to the domestic passenger check-in baggage carousel in the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal are completed and the baggage system is now fully functional. Travelers can check their bags at the terminal’s check-in counters again. Virgin Islands Port Authority Executive Director Carlton Dowe said that off-island technicians were hired to repair the belt that was experiencing electrical glitches due to a malfunction with the belt’s programming. VIPA thanks the public for its patience during the repairs and apologizes for the inconvenience.
