The Virgin Islands Port Authority alerts the public that the road behind MSI Supplies in Crown Bay, St. Thomas will remain temporarily closed for repairs through Thursday, May 4, 2023. The extension of the closure is to allow for the proper curing of the concrete. Motorists may use alternative entrance and exit roads to access the Crown Bay Cargo Port. The port will be accessible from the roads east and west of the former Cancryn School property, or through Crown Bay Marina.
VIPA hired Harnel Engineering and Construction Company to complete the concrete road repair project which is expected to cost up to $54,000.

I appreciate the update on the Crown Bay Cargo Port road closure. It must impact local logistics significantly. How are you managing communication with stakeholders during this extended delay? I'm curious about any alternative eggy car routes being utilized during this time!
It’ll be interesting to see how this affects traffic for those heading to the Snow Rider event. Appreciate you keeping us informed!
