SEAPORT SCHEDULES

USVI TRAVEL POLICY

All passengers five years of age or older, traveling by air or by sea, including those in transit, must use www.usvitravelportal.com to receive certification prior to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Submit an approved test result to get cleared to travel to the USVI.  Without travel clearance from the portal, passengers may not be able to board an aircraft or vessel to the Territory.  This requirement applies to all travelers - including U.S. Citizens and residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Evidence of COVDI-19 vaccination does not supersede the COVID-19 testing requirement set forth by the Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The new Centers for Disease Control COVID-19 travel requirements do not apply to persons traveling directly from the U.S. Virgin Islands to the U.S. mainland.  No test result is required to travel or return from the U.S. Virgin Islands to the U.S. mainland.

Visit www.usviupdate.com for more information about the requirements needed to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands during the COVID-19 pandemic.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR AIRPORTS AND SEAPORTS

While we welcome you to our beautiful islands, we have been forced to make some changes to the way we do business in our air and seaports.  The following are Operational Guidelines issued by the USVI Government for the public's safety.

TEMPERATURE CHECKS AT ALL PASSENGER PORTS

Temperature screenings are mandatory for all travelers arriving in the USVI via U.S. domestic flights or from foreign locations. Temperature checks at the airports will be performed by the Virgin Islands National Guard (VING) at checkpoints on the airport operations access ramp before travelers are allowed entry into the terminal. Thermal temperature scanning machines are also installed at both airport terminals as a secondary temperature check mechanism.

COVER YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE

Masks or facial coverings are mandatory at all USVI airports and seaport terminals.  They must be worn properly covering the entire mouth and nose.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and to reduce the spread of the virus, President Joseph Biden issued an Executive Order Promoting COVID-19 Safty in Domestic and International Travel on January 21, 2021. The order requires masks to be work in airports, on commercial aircraft, and in various modes of surface transportation.  Refusing to wear a mask in or on the airport property is a violation of federal law, and individuals may be subject to penalties under federal law.
