What
airlines fly to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands?
St. John is the smallest
island of the three main islands that comprise U.S. Virgin Islands.
The island does not have an airport. If you are flying
to the U.S. Virgin Islands and wish to visit St. John, you would
first fly to Cyril E. King Airport on the nearby island of St.
Thomas, USVI. There are two ferry docks on St. Thomas which
provide service to and from St. John daily:
Option 1:
The
W. E. Blyden
Terminal located in downtown Charlotte Amalie is about 5-7
minutes from the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas.
However, the ferry ride from Charlotte Amalie to St. John is about
30 minutes.
Option 2:
The
Red Hook Marine
Facility is located on the eastern end of the island. It
takes about 15-25 minutes (depending on the traffic and time of
day) to get from the Cyril E. King Airport (western end of the
island) to the Red Hook dock (eastern end of the island).
However, the ferry ride from Red Hook to St. John is about 15
minutes.
What
companies ship merchandise to the U.S. Virgin Islands?
Please visit our
download our marine services brochure

What
documents do I need to enter the U.S. Virgin Islands?
A U.S. passport is not
required for direct travel within the United States of America from
any of the 50 states (including Hawaii, the District of Colombia or
Alaska) or any of its territories (including Guam, Puerto Rico,
Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa and Swains Island) to the
United States Virgin Islands.
However, if you are entering the U.S.
Virgin Islands from a foreign destination, you may be required to
show a U.S. passport.
Adult passengers (18 and over) are required
to show a U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID that
contains the following: name, date of birth, gender,
expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature in order to
be allowed to go through federal checkpoint and onto their
flight. Passports are an accepted form of
identification but are not mandatory for domestic travel at
this time. For more information on domestic or foreign
arrival requirements as it relates to your visit to the
Virgin Islands, please visit
http://travel.state.gov.
How
early should I arrive at the airport for my departure flight?
Travelers are advised to
arrive at least two hours before the scheduled flight departure time
to allow adequate time to check bags and clear the security
checkpoints prior to boarding. It is a good idea to verify
departure requirements and travel documents with your airline before
arriving at the airport.
