The Port Authority and its employees
contribute to the following community related facilities and
Lindbergh Bay Park and Water Facility
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Built by the Port Authority in 1999,
the park provides residents a relaxing location for families to
spend quality, outdoor time together. Amenities at the park include
a swing set, a children's play area with a padded surface, a
volleyball/tennis court, an exercise system, a domino table, picnic
tables, benches and restrooms. In 2000, a water playground was added
to the park. A series of colorful water systems with a safe, padded
surface is an ideal alternative to the beach to pass away the hot
Caribbean days with family and friends. For more information about

VIPA's Adopted Schools in the U.S. Virgin
The Port Authority has adopted
public elementary schools in the U.S. Virgin islands: The Gladys A. Abraham Elementary School,
located at Estate Lindbergh Bay on St. Thomas, s and the Juanita F. Gardine Elementary School is
located at Estate Richmond, Christiansted, St. Croix.
