Doing Business with Us
VIPA is a complex agency tasked with the huge
responsibility of managing the air and seaports of the
U.S. Virgin Islands. The Authority is also
expected to remain self sufficient and fund its
operating and capital projects budget via facility user
fees, rents, and federal grants.
- Administration & Finance:
A collection of financial information is provided to
the public on our Web site. Our chief
financial officer is in charge of our banking and
investments, purchasing, information and accounting
- Advertising: Find out what you need to do to set up a display
advertising business at any of the USVI air or seaports.
- Bids: We have
provided all bid packages for free download on our
Web site. Please take note of deadline dates and
times for each bid package.
& Contributions: The Port Authority regularly contributes to
non-profit, educational and tourism related
organizations. To request a donation from VIPA you
must submit a request in writing to the Authority's
public relations office.
Hosting an Event or Film Shoot on VIPA Property:
The Port Authority has provided certain spaces on
its property to host community events. We also allow
film shoots in unrestricted areas. Our public
relations staff will inform you what the procedures
are to host your event on Port property.
- Leasing/Renting Port Property: Our property management office manages our large
portfolio of land and property holdings on St. Thomas,
St. Croix, St. John and Hassel Island. To lease
property at any of our facilities, you must complete our
tenant application and submit a non-refundable
- Services: A variety of aviation and marine related services are
provided via our tenants. There are also a host of
shopping, dining, entertainment and educational
attractions at our ports.
